Valentine's has come and gone and it was good. Simple low key and exciting all the same. Yesterday we did practically nothing. It was lovely. A few things around the house done, an exploration through the back field (no tadpoles yet) another batch of cookies and some nice valentine themed meals.

Mom does the icing and they do the rest. The result lots of tasty cookies each of them different but delicious.
My proud little bakers with their finished cookies. Yum yum! While baking cookies the night before my daughter decide that everything we ate for Valentine's day should be heartish. There were plenty of suggestions but we decided on Pink heart pancakes for breakfast, cheese and apple slices shaped like hearts, ham and cheese sandwiches cut into hearts ( lunch and snack) and for dinner heart shaped quesadilla's.
